Urban areas deal with the dual threats of air and sound pollution, from poorly managed transportation systems which leads to health risks for residents. Traffic jam have been major issue and not being handled well. Emergency vehicles always face huge challenge to drive via traffic lights most of the time due to conjunction and traffic jam. This research aims to propose a smart strategy using fog computing to enhance traffic light management system. The main concept of this proposal is to allow emergency vehicles to take control of the traffic light, whereby when the emergency vehicle receives a request it can overwrite the traffic light system by changing all traffic lights of the destination to green before it starts moving to make sure the road is clear with sufficient time for it to pass by smoothly. This research applied mixed methodology, quantitative method using survey and experiment. Qualitative method using interview. The output of this Research is a comprehensive framework and planning effort to establish the Emergency Vehicles Smart Transportation Strategy Using Fog Computing.
