When modeling the IMA (Integrated Modular Avionics) architecture, IMA resource allocations/budgets need to be determined and the right amount of IMA shared resource also need to be determined prior to beginning of an IMA development. Thus, it needs solving the problem of how to implement resources fusion for IMA system. This paper describes the mechanism of resources fusion for IMA system to provide resource sharing and functional integration. By abstracting all resource with interface, the question of resources fusion can be translated to the question of data sharing and integration which all data must be represented in a known and agreed upon manner. To facility the data sharing, IMA architecture is constructed and corresponding domain data model is present. Furthermore, the data flow of IMA domain data model is analyzed. To guarantee the efficient sharing of different resources, a data structure that independent of how the data was produced, transported or acquired is presented for playing central mechanism for all data sharing between the components of an IMA system. At the same time, to guarantee a defined and predictable behavior of IMA real time application, a strict fixed time frame based execution model is demonstrated.
