In order to solve the problem of correlated source number estimation under noisy background, a generalized Khatri-Rao products approach based on Gerschgorin radii is proposed in this paper. Generalized Khatri-Rao products of the received data are computed by weighted summation of the rows of Khatri-Rao product of received data on a uniform linear array, and its element sequence is readjusted. The reconstruction of generalized Khatri-Rao product works like spatial smoothing technique. By exploring the second-order statistical property of the generalized Khatri-Rao products auto correlation matrix, a correlated source detection criterion based on Gerschgorin radii is deduced. Simulation results validate the efficiency and robustness of the proposed method.
