Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) is admired a lot nowadays. These kinds of network make high mobile wireless links with the concept of using moving vehicles as nodes. In current scenario, due to swift broadening of automobile industry a technique has to be habituated as a resolution for assistance in driving and monitoring the traffic. The challenging part is the way of selecting the ideal node that composes the path from origin to objective. The next factor is the mobility of the vehicle which affects the link quality in vehicular ad-hoc networks since the vehicles move at relatively greater speeds. In this study, for the links to retain for a prolonged period between vehicles and also to detect the ideal route for transmission of data, MF-AODV routing protocol is proposed. Fuzzy rules have been applied on certain parameters. Delay, bandwidth, mobility and packet collision rate determines the optimized route. The proposed method on evaluation showed that the values of packet delivery ratio, throughput and routing overhead have been improved.
