To alleviate increasing traffic congestion and charging demand of electric vehicles (EVs), we propose a more economical strategy for the fast charging stations (FCS) planning for EVs in this paper, which takes into account the transportation network (TN) reconfiguration in the coupled power and transportation network (CPTN) is proposed. The EVs flows on shorter paths is increased by the reconfiguration strategy of link reversing in TN, so that the cost of EVs travel time and charging demand are reduced. The numerical results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively reduce EV travel time cost during rush hours and the total planning cost of FCSs.
