based on a single-host, multi-channel ground penetrating radar (GPR) system, high-precision real-time monitoring of asphalt pavement thickness data is realized, and a corresponding asphalt pavement thickness intelligent control system is developed for analyzing and displaying the paving thickness data. Besides, a 3D visualization model of pavement construction is established for extracting related parameters such as thickness difference and area of each thickness difference, so as to define a pavement thickness evaluation method based on the loose paving thickness dispersion index, paving thickness compliance rate index and thickness cost control rate index. Compared with the traditional thickness control method, this technology provides a comprehensive evaluation system for the loose paving thickness of asphalt pavement, which can accurately reflect the paving thickness dispersion and cost control of the asphalt pavement, and has a strong promotion and application value.
