In recent years, robotaxi technology has garnered widespread attention and research on a global scale. Many countries and regions are actively exploring and promoting the development and application of robotaxi technology. This study aims to investigate the acceptance of robotaxi technology among older adults. By constructing an extended technology acceptance model that takes into account the characteristics of technology anxiety and resistance to change among the elderly, the study examines the acceptance of robotaxi technology among this population. The results indicate a negative correlation between technology anxiety and perceived usefulness as well as perceived ease of use, with no significant relationship observed with intention to use. Additionally, resistance to change is negatively correlated with intention to use. These findings hold significant implications for promoting the application of robotaxi technology among older adults.
