Roads are the most used means of transport. Thus regular maintenance of the roads is required for safety and convenience of the people. Common navigation systems people use nowadays, like Google Maps, helps us take a faster route to our destination based on the velocity of the vehicles in a particular area. But the quality of roads is not indicated in the navigation systems. In this paper, a system is proposed which can be used to analyze the road quality of an area. These analyzed road quality information is made available to the general public via an app or a website. The people can then choose which path on the road is safer and faster to travel upon. The method proposed uses accelerometer sensor and GPS to make a map of roads, with an added layer to the map which tells the quality of the roads.
