Electric vehicles have become a crucial direction for development of new energy vehicles. Furthermore, the limitation of electric energy storage technology of electric vehicles needs to be compensated by more convenient charging technology, and the positioning technology based on wireless charging can improve the charging efficiency of electric vehicles. However, the wireless charging system for electric vehicles has strict requirements for the parking position of electric vehicles, and the energy transmission performance of the system is very sensitive to the position relationship between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil. In this paper, firstly, the general situation of wireless charging positioning guidance technology for electric vehicles is expounded, and the existing positioning methods are put forward. Then, many research results and applications about positioning at home and abroad are summarized and analyzed. Finally, the positioning and guidance technology of electric vehicle and its future development trend are summarized.
