The paper refers to the study on the degradation of mid-IR photoconductive and photovoltaic un-cooled optical detectors and IR materials under electron beam and gamma-ray irradiation. Before and after subsequent irradiation sessions the spectral response and dark signal of the detectors were measured. Following similar procedures the transmittance and diffuse reflectance in the optical domain were evaluated for IR windows. As a premiere, the THz spectral parameters of these materials after irradiation are reported.
