To achieve the enough reflector precision of space antenna for accomplishment their missions with less adjustable cables, the optimization method is proposed in this paper. The mathematic model is built with the minimum adjustable cables and the highest surface accuracy as objectives, the adjustable cables and the increment cable length as design variables, the stresses and fundamental frequency as constraints. Obviously it is a nonlinear programming problem with two objectives and both continuous and discrete design variables. The numerical simulation of a 17 m cable mesh antenna with GA is carried out to demonstrate the methodology given in this paper.
