In this article, distributed adaptive 3-D cooperative guidance problem intercepting maneuvering targets with actuator faults and terminal angle constraint is investigated. First, a distributed adaptive cooperative guidance law is given for each missile to achieve the terminal angle formation and terminal angle rate tracking within fixed time. Moreover, an auxiliary gain is introduced to avoid the usage of the global information, such as the topology information, the unknown maneuver of the target, and the unknown actuator fault information. Second, in order to cope with the nonlinear term arising in the coupling dynamics, an updating mechanism is presented to prevent the effect of nonlinear term, which cannot be canceled directly due to the actuator faults. Third, the design process is summarized as a cooperative guidance algorithm and a sufficient condition to accomplish the fixed-time convergent cooperative guidance process is given and proved. Finally, the validity of the guidance law and algorithm is tested by a numerical example.
