The trajectory planning of autonomous vehicles provides a reliable prediction of the future load profile. With this information an energy efficient control with high torque dynamic can be designed. Therefore, the rotor flux of the asynchronous machine is dynamically adapted to the driving condition. The algorithm for determining the reference trajectory uses the dynamic programming method. From this, analytical correlations for the predictive actuation of the rotor flux linkage are derived. The dynamic flux control can be easily integrated into conventional controls and increases the range of the vehicle up to 26 % compared to a control strategy with constant rotor flux linkage.
