Summary.This paper introduces a DOG. Using DOG operator to locate and determine the key points, the edge effect of DOG operator is eliminated, and finally the key point feature description is obtained. Using MATLAB to describe the key points of the collected images in various situations and match them in pairs. Simulation result shows that the key points of this algorithm are fully extracted and matching success rate is high
