With the rapid development of social economy, the number of motor vehicles continues to grow, resulting in corresponding traffic congestion problems. Traffic congestion refers to the phenomenon of traffic detention caused by roads in a certain time and space that cannot meet the corresponding traffic demand and traffic supply. This paper is mainly based on floating car data, selecting 4 representative middle schools in Nanjing as the research object, and researching through the obtained floating car data and road condition information, mainly analyzing the main roads around the 4 middle schools in different time periods Congestion caused by the situation. Methods such as spatial statistical analysis and comparative analysis are used to analyze the school's spatial and temporal impact on traffic congestion. The results show that the school with more people has more influence on its surrounding main roads; the farther the surrounding roads are from the school, the lower the degree of congestion. The spatial impact of the school on the main roads around it mainly presents the characteristics of distance diffusion. The school's impact on the time of its surrounding main roads is reflected in the school time period of the working day.
