Research into power electronic based converters is essential in order to provide high-power, low-cost, and reliable charging solutions for the EV battery as EVs become increasingly popular. A five-level power factor correction (PFC) converter, a series resonant converter (SRC), and a dual active bridge (DAB) converter are presented in this study to form an isolated hybrid three-port converter with the capabilities to accomplish the aforementioned goals. The suggested converter's three-port architecture lessens the overall number of parts, which in turn reduces the system's price and complexity. Multilevel rectifier (MLR) implementation at the input stage improves the quality of the input voltage waveform while lowering the voltage requirements for power switches. A straightforward decoupled control strategy based on pulse width modulation (PWM) and phase shift was devised to regulate power flow across all three ports simultaneously. The system is modeled in MATLAB/Simulink and verified in the lab through experiments.
