A second order quasi-linear model reference tracking control law has been developed for service spacecraft (SS) flying around the target spacecraft (TS) with constant attitude pointing. The integrated relative position and attitude model of SS is established in second order within the framework of line of sight coordinate and Eular angle, and according to problem we considered the reference model is designed in quasi-linear form. By using parametric approach and model reference strategy, a quasi-linear model reference tracking controller is proposed such that the output of closed-loop tracks asymptotically the output of the reference model, and the existence condition of controller is studied in detail, which also present the design approach of parametric controller. The numerical simulation is presented to illustrate the effect of the proposed control scheme.
