Li/Ion battery charger study for electrical vehicle using half bridge converter is presented herein. Besides half bridge converter is tied to the grid by single phase PFC SEPIC converter to increase PF and decrease THD of grid current through LCL filter. Further, the PFC converter has hysteresis current control. Matlab/Simulink simulation is used for the study. By means of the simulation, Li/Ion state of charge and voltage are measured to prove that the Li/Ion is charged. Also, THD of grid current is obtained as 3.42 % and PF is measured as 0.999. It is validated that THD is decreased below the limit in the standards and PF is increased nearly to the unity.
