In this paper, the cascaded H bridge rectifier (CHBR) in power electronic transformer (PET)-based traction drive system is taken as the research object. An improved transient direct current control (TDCC) based on auto-disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is put forward to promote dynamic response and robustness of the system. Compared with the traditional TDCC, the proposed control strategy overcomes the contradiction between the system response speed and overshoot, and enhances the anti-disturbance performance of the system. The simulation results prove the feasibility and validity of the proposed control strategy.
