In the context of global energy shortage and increasing environmental pollution, this paper focuses on the importance of pure electric vehicle power systems and the challenges they currently face, and designs and implements them based on Simulink models. The paper first introduces pure electric vehicles as representatives of new energy vehicles. The performance of their power systems directly determines the overall performance of the vehicle, so their design and optimization become the core of new energy vehicle technology research and development. Then, the composition, key technologies and performance indicators of pure electric vehicle power systems are elaborated in detail, laying the foundation for subsequent modeling and simulation analysis. In the modeling part, a vehicle simulation model is built using Simulink software. Through simulation analysis, the acceleration and maximum speed power performance indicators of the vehicle are evaluated in detail, and the simulation results are compared with the design requirements to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the design scheme. Finally, the paper looks forward to the future development of pure electric vehicle power systems and puts forward relevant suggestions.
