With new trends in aviation everybody tries to be more and more efficient with the highest possibility of being sustainable. This also applies for small general aviation operations such as sightseeing flights. There is a high demand for such flights in the region of High Tatras. Readers are able to find possible options of aircraft suitable for flights in this region and also rules that apply for this area. Authors created possible routes for flights in the area and calculated loss of fuel if flying is done in inefficient way. In the article there is also calculation of excess fuel consumption when not using suitable aircraft. For the article two experimental flights were done to find the optimal route and altitude for the flight. Based on the optimal route and altitude authors found optimal set-up of aircraft and calculated fuel losses.
