Due to the rapid development of sharing economy and autonomous driving technology, a new travel mode of Shared Autonomous Vehicles (SAV) has emerged. In order to investigate user’ intention to use SAV and the factors influencing it, a discrete choice experiment is designed derived from a Revealed Preference (RP) survey and a Stated Preference (SP) survey. Based on the valid data obtained from the questionnaire, a binary logit model and a multivariate logistic model were constructed. The results show that users’ intention to use SAV and their price preference for SAV are significantly influenced by the average monthly spending, the average distance of a single daily trip, the average time required for a single daily trip, the experience of online taxi travel, and users’ perceived attitudes toward SAV.
