Limb amputations occur at a global rate of over one million per year, emphasizing the growing demand for high-quality prosthetics that provide both physical and psychological benefits to affected individuals. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) projects a substantial 52.63% increase in the demand for prosthetic devices worldwide by the year 2030. This elevated demand highlights the necessity for improved prosthetic materials. This study focuses on exploring the suitability of nylon 66 as a material for 3D-printed prosthetics by exclusively considering the human hand model. A sample group of approximately 100 adults aged 18 to 20 is studied, and a human hand model is developed using nylon 66. Extensive research involves simulating and analyzing the material properties of nylon 66 under various conditions. The simulation results concludes that the nylon 66-based prosthetic hand outperforms its counterparts, namely, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Polylactic Acid (PLA). Specifically, the nylon 66-based design exhibits minimal displacement under high tensile forces, aligning well with the anatomical requirements of prosthetics. Furthermore, the material maintains optimal ductility, as indicated by Von Mises values, reinforcing its suitability for prosthetic applications
