We describe a new technique based on multiresolution analysis (MRA) to compute the fast integral wavelet transform (FIWT) on a dense set of time-scale plane using compactly supported biorthogonal spline wavelets. This method is different from the one that gives wavelet coefficients of a finite energy function at dyadic positions and binary scales. Although these coefficients are sufficient to reconstruct the function, they are not suitable for visual display on a time-scale plane. A few examples are included to elucidate the method.<>
