Ship unloader always tries to maximize efficiency by improving the operating reliability while minimizing the maintenance costs and then obtain better reliable and economic result. According to the strategy of RCM (Reliability-centered maintenance) theory, the failure mode is analyzed by using FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis). The decision process of the RCM strategy, maintenance type of the ship unloader and the maintenance of the key parts are proposed, which provides scientific decision support for the maintenance of the ship unloader.
