Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are flying robots controlled remotely and autonomously. UAVs are becoming increasingly popular among industries and governments despite their origins in military purposes. The accelerated development of drone usage has revealed serious security issues with communication, making it vital to guarantee the safety of data exchange among drones. Traditional UAVs are vulnerable because they depend on widely recognized communication methods. Furthermore, UAVs do not offer complete data protection for a number of security-critical jobs, which could lead to serious loss and potentially fatal outcomes. The suggested blockchain-based scheme's primary goal is to assure the system's security in terms of confidentiality, Integrity, and availability so that UAVs can efficiently communicate data with other UAVs. The proposed framework demonstrates that the method mentioned is more effective for safe data sharing in current UAV networks based on blockchain technology. Finally, the shortcomings of blockchain technology for UAVs and future directions are discussed.
