To alleviate the energy crisis and environmental pollution caused by traditional fuel-powered vehicles, and to promote a green economy, the automotive industry has vigorously pursued the research and development of new energy vehicles in line with the requirements of energy conservation, environmental protection, and green development. With the aim of enhancing energy recovery efficiency and economic performance, research on braking energy recovery strategies has been conducted, leading to the design of a braking energy management strategy based on operating condition recognition and variable time-domain prediction. We optimized the effectiveness and maximum value of braking energy recovery to improve the economic performance of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
