The electric vehicles are expected to be flexible demand response resources and distributed energy storages for the power systems. This paper proposes an aggregated storage strategy of multiple electric vehicles and their aggregator for mitigating impacts of the vehicle charging to the distribution system and integrating both electric vehicles and renewable energy resources into the power system. In the proposed strategy, the charging request and battery management of each electric vehicle, which is important for vehicle usage, is accomplished by an autonomous scheduled charging. In addition, an aggregator dispatches control signals for global power and energy management to the idling electric vehicles. Effectiveness of the proposed strategy is shown through a simulation considering the vehicle driving statistics.
