This paper presents a smart parking system to reduce traffic congestion in urban areas. It provides real-time information about parking space availability in accordance with various vehicles and their sizes. Using Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, the system facilitates streamlined vehicular flow and manages parking allotments in commercial spaces. Vehicle detection models deployed across parking facilities provide occupancy data and are used for creating a dynamic feedback loop. This helps in reducing search time and lowering congestion in parking spaces. This provides scalable solutions regarding parking spaces in commercial areas. As a supplementary service, the system would suggest nearby parking spaces in case of unavailability.
