Vihicular Ad hoc Network(VANET) has developed rapidly in recent years, which requires information sharing, especially in secure and efficient driving. Content-centric Network (CCN) performs better in content retrieving with its in-network caching and naming-based routing. Whether to select a node as a caching point is very important for communications in VANET beacause of the shiftting from end-to-end communication to content-oriented communication. In order to get better content retrieval performance, we adapt the behaviour of CCN nodes for VANET. To decide which node being the caching point, we propose a node selection algorithm based on the minimum vertex cover set theory in static networks. Furthermore, we propose Collaborative Caching Based on Socialized Relations (CCBSR) to determine the caching point to solve the disconnecty caused by the mobility of vehicles. Extensive simulations in highway show that our mechanism speeds up the content retrieval and makes the video more fluent.
