The rapid growth in population in city cause traffic congestion become serious. People tend to spend more time while travelling in urban city. To reduce traffic congestion, this project has proposed multi-agent intelligent traffic light system using fuzzy logic control with using incoming traffic from other intersection as one of the inputs of the system. Using Simulation of Urban Mobility (SUMO) to simulate the traffic at intersection of Berjaya Time Square and Bukit Bintang with different types of traffic light system, the simulation result shows that there are up to 26.95 % improvement in waiting time, up to 7.95 % improvement in flow rate and up to 20.87 % improvement in queue length in proposed system compare with traditional traffic light system and there is also slightly improvement compare with single intersection intelligent traffic light system. Therefore, it shows that multi-agent intelligent traffic light with considering incoming traffic can help in reducing traffic congestion comparing with traditional traffic light system.
