To promote the utilization of smart cars equipped with ROS (Smart car Operating System) systems and multifarious sensors in industrial production and daily life, we have finished the program according to the existing well-developed Smart car function package and algorithm, then we designed and manufactured Smart car and carry out real experiment. The spacious test environment is built, and the influence variables that may appear in the actual application process are introduced in the experiment to study the positioning and navigation accuracy of the car. Eventually we determine the degree of influence of four common factors on accuracy, and corresponding solutions. The method to improve the positioning accuracy of Smart car is found, which will promote the application of Smart car in reality.
