The report provides the results of a survey conducted by the Association for Commuter Transportation. It was designed to find out who the commuter transportation professionals are, what kinds of organizations they work for, the scope of services which they provide, financial information about their programs, and future directions for the field. Public, private, and non-profit organizations offered cash incentives in the form of subsidized fares: the public entities did not. The non-profit organizations had the highest program budgets by nearly a two to one margin over public and private groups. The report will be of particular interest to ridesharing professionals.
