This report updates our plans for the continued modernization of our national airspace system. This is a cross-agency effort and reflects the FAA’s plan forward with continued partner collaboration. In it you will see that the overarching objectives for the future remain the same — maximizing airspace capacity with more sophisticated and seamlessly integrated information about the future position of aircraft at a given time — while maintaining the safest air travel possible.
