The document presents the analysis, design, fabrication and testing of two promising independent attitude control system concepts to demonstrate the feasibility of their use for any maneuvering vehicle utilizing cryogenic propellants for the main propulsion system. The two systems fall into the following categories: (1) an independent attitude control system using reactive gases stored at high pressures; (2) an attitude control system using cryogenic propellants from the main propulsion system tankage. The feasibility demonstrations of the two systems were conducted independently. The demonstrations included both steady state and pulse mode operation at various duty cycles. Material compatibility tests with fluorinated oxidizers were conducted at ambient and elevated temperatures and pressures. A Gas-Gas, Bipropellant Valve was evaluated for long term leakage using the active propellants.
