The project proposes to improve the existing airport at Linton, which involves land acquisition--development and clearance of zones; site preparation to construct a hard-surfaced runway; paving runway, 50' x 3,100'; turnarounds, 1,000 sq. yds.; connecting taxiway, 30' x 225'; and apron, 150' x 150'; relocate wind cone; construct segmented circle; and installation of tiedowns. Impact on human and natural environment is minimal. Adverse environmental effects: Noise and air pollution will increase as activity increases. The noise increase should be minimal as the runway length limits using aircraft to piston engine general aviation (primarily single engine).
