The 2003-2006 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area is a multi-modal program of highway, transit, bike, walk and transportation enhancement projects and programs proposed for federal funding throughout the seven-county metropolitan area in the next four years. The TIP is prepared by the Metropolitan Council in cooperation with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MN/DOT). The projects contained in the TIP are consisted with and implement the region's transportation plan and priorities.
