Telebus is a hybrid form of transit, combining the flexibility of taxi systems and the passenger carrying capacity of transit systems. Telebus provides demand-responsive, moderately priced, door-to-door transportation in areas of low density and between dispersed or concentrated activity centres. The level of service associated with Telebus lies between the taxi and conventional bus services, at a price level within the reach of most urban travellers. The report summarizes the findings of the feasibility study of a Telebus demonstration project in two areas of Regina, Saskatchewan. (Author)
