The project proposes reconstruction of a two-lane highway into a four-lane highway with a 16-foot median for a length of 3 miles. Environmental impacts include the acquisition of right-of-way and the removal of existing landscaping; the purchase and removal of approximately 2 family home units and 4 businesses; damage to other businesses and industry by loss of frontage area and parking.
