To provide the inherent capability to meet a large variety of multimode and multimission performance requirements, without hardware development and fabrication dedicated to a specific mission, this handbook describes a new approach of designing, developing, fabricating and testing attitude and orbit control subsystem. The proposed concept, which aimed at overall cost effectiveness optimization, was defined by architecture and interface guidelines, and gave birth to the modular attitude and orbit control subsystem.
