Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) engagement training equipment was used to provide a period of simulated target engagement training to one station unit training (OSUT), soldiers after the standard TOW training program. While hit performance was not a primary objective of the period, exposure to actual target vehicles under field engagement conditions was. The attitudes of the soldiers and cadre were recorded and summarized for use by the OSUT command elements. This note describes and reports the preliminary observations and soldier comments.
