The Mark II Azusa Tracking Equipment test program includes testing the system during the time it tracks a slow-speed aircraft equipped with an Azusa transponder. The primary objectives of the aircraft tracking tests are to determine: (a) Tracking capability of the system under dynamic conditions. (b) Capability of the system to automatically resolve ambiguities in range and direction cosines. A secondary objective is to develop standard maintenance, calibration and operational procedures for use after system installation at the AFMTC. (Author)
