Construction is proposed of a 105-site, 40 acre camping facility on Navy owned land in a portion of San Clemente Canyon, California. The facility would be utilized by naval personnel and dependents for temporary recreational camping. The adverse effects will be the removal of considerable vegetation for campsites, and reduction in wildlife caused by the introduction of human activity to the area. This is offset by the beneficial recreational effects.
