The report documents research conducted for the Federal Highway Administration's Office of Motor Carriers (OMC). The purpose of the research is to identify the unsafe driving acts (UDAs) of motorists in the vicinity of large trucks. Additional objectives include the development of recommendations for training materials and possible changes to the Uniform Vehicle Code and Model Traffic Ordinance.
