This report covers the development and testing of two types of light aerial tramways, one of the semi-continuous bicable type and the other of the double-reversible bicable type, to determine which would best meet the military requirements for that type of structure in mountain warfare operations. As a result of tests by the Mountain Warfare Section at Camp Hale, Colorado, on pilot models of both types, it was determined that the double-reversible bicable type tramway would be more suitable.
