A real-time ship simulation study of the proposed design for new navigation channels serving future port development in Los Angeles, CA, was conducted. The purpose of the study was to determine both the required channel size for the Federal interest and the safety of the actual channels being constructed by the Port of Los Angeles. The simulations were conducted at Marine Safety International.
