The Air Force uses dynamic programming to assess the wartime logistics of their aircraft systems. However, they do not have a standard methodology to assess the combat capability of nonaircraft systems. This report examines a methodology to apply the Dyna-METRIC model to assess non-aircraft systems. Several systems are discussed: mobile tactial communications, civil engineering, transportation and space systems. All are assessed in terms of four critical variables: demand rates, sortie equivalents, fleet size, and redundancy. Keywords: Communications equipment, Computerized simulation, Dynamic programming, Military supplies.
