Progress is reported for all work accomplished on the following activities: (1) analytical studies-parachute dynamics, parachute performance required for low level cargo delivery; computer trajectory program, performance summary and conclusions; (2) runway level test results of parachute inflation and force-time histories with aerodynamic assistance and lifting canopies; (3) weight and size limits, flight safety, system weight and cost, logistics and training; (4) functional reliability.
