This report, funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, was conducted by the Louis Berger Group. It examines the feasibility of assisting the Baltic Container Terminal (BCT) in maintaining their position in Poland's maritime container trade and on assisting in the terminal development of the Port of Gdynia in Poland. The report, in two volumes, contains information on the market assessment, the evaluation of terminal operations and its capacity, identification of terminal development options, and the financial evaluation of the proposed development. This project has the potential to produce $10 to $20 million in U.S. exports, with the bulk of exports coming from container and yard cranes, rubber tire gantry cranes, heavy forklift equipment, electrical components and controls, as well as construction management services.
