The purpose of the test is to determine that the ground and airborne pressurization systems will function properly to pressurize the fuel and LO2 tanks before and during firing of the missile. The test consists of conducting a 'blow-down' operation by pressurizing the fuel and LO2 tank simulation ullage tanks in the manner which the missile fuel and LO2 tank will be pressurized to and during firing.
